A Good Morning star was left 'grovelling for his job' on Friday after suffering a mortifying technical gaffe live on air.
Andi Peters was left red-faced as he was forced to admit that he'd unplugged his microphone to pop to the toilet, resulting in him being unprepared when it came to his link to his competition segment.
As the camera cut to him to introduce the latest prize, the presenter, 54, pulled an alarmed face as he whipped out his mic pack and realised it was unplugged.
The camera then cut to hosts Rob Rinder and Kate Garraway laughing, as Andi was heard in background yelling: 'run the VT!'
After the clip, the Andi thenreturned to shot, where he pretended to be on a call to bosses his boss as he joked: 'Seriously don't get rid of me!

'I went to the toilet, that's why I unplugged it! Right OK', before abruptly hanging up.
The long-time presenter later apologised for his mic being unplugged, but Kate Garraway couldn't resist ribbing him over the blunder.
The broadcaster mocked Andi stating his actions were 'unprofessional' and before jestingly insisting she would never do that.
It comes after Andi was surprisedlive on air last month as the show presented himwith a special cake to celebrate his birthday.
But the TV presenter then shocked his fellow stars in return as he revealed that he was turning 54 years old, despite his ageless appearance.
Andi appeared in the ITV studios to present his usual competition segment for the viewers at home to bag some cash.
However, host Ranvir Singh then stopped him, saying:'Normally, Andi you would tell us a bit more about the competition, but we've been keeping a bit quiet today because it's a very special day... It's your birthday today!'
Birthday music began playing and Ranvir joined co-host Ed Balls in dancing along, before telling Andi: 'We've got a special surprise for you. Do you want to say how old you are?'

Andi reiterated his age once more, before smugly gesturing at his youthful face and jokingly saying: 'I know, I know.'
Ranvir then revealed his surprise, saying: 'We have had a cake made of you doing what you do best - broadcasting from the beach!'
Weatherman Alex Beresford appeared carrying a huge tiered cake, covered in blue icing to resemble the sea and crumbs down the side as sand.

While on top of the cake was a palm tree with a little fondant figure of Andi reading a GMB book lying on a sun lounger.
As Alex brought it over to Andi, he quipped: 'I tell you what, it weighs as much as Andi's biceps!'
A delighted Andi declared: 'That is one heck of a cake!' as Alex added: 'It smells amazing.'
Andi offered: 'You're very welcome to have some - do you do carbs? to which Alex referenced Andi's ripped physique and shot back: 'You don't do carbs obviously!'
