JoAnn's beauty and radiance was endless - she glowed through life, and everyone she knew was touched by her warmth and generosity. Born Friday, May 29, 1970, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ruzanic and Joyce Ruzanic. Marhea graduated with a BA from Penn State University in 1992, including a semester abroad in Chichester, England. She loved teaching and her innovative instruction reached many as an elementary teacher in Virginia. She received her master's degree from George Mason University and worked as a gifted specialist for the Loudoun County Public Schools. Marhea was vivacious and loved people. She also enjoyed bird watching, showing her dogs, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her daughter Kirsten I. Oren Simpson or "Pap" as he was affectionately known to his family and close friends, was born April 28th ,1935 in Nacogdoches. Oren enlisted in the United States Naval Service where he served both active and reserve roles until 1963. After serving, he moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to serve with the Pittsburgh Police Department for 28 years. He also met his future wife Kathleen Faas while working a routine call.
