Alexis Bellino, John Janssen tease that an engagement is on the horizon (2024)

Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are looking forward to the next chapter in their love story.

The reality TV couple teased that an engagement is on the horizon while speaking exclusively to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast Sunday at DIRECTV’s Streaming with the Stars party at Spago Beverly Hills.

“I cannot picture my life without her,” Janssen, 61, said when asked if he has plans to propose to the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, 47.

Bellino, for her part, suspects that her boyfriend will get down on one knee in the near future. “I think probably,” she said with a bright smile, suggesting that the pair has discussed marriage.

As for a televised wedding, the lovebirds seem keen on giving fans a glimpse at the lead-up to their hypothetical I Dos — even if they’re not sold on the idea of letting cameras inside said ceremony.

“I mean, we’re not airing [it] probably,” said Bellino.

The “RHOC” stalwart — who is back to filming the series in a “friend of” role for Season 18 — was first linked to Janssen, the ex of castmate Shannon Beador, in the fall of 2023.

Last November, a photo of the duo seated at a booth inside The Quiet Woman —a favorite haunt of Beador’s in Newport Beach, Calif.— set the Bravo fandom ablaze, prompting speculation of a romance.

By December, Bellino and Janssen confirmed they were together bypacking on the PDAduring a holiday party with pals. Subsequently, she revealed via Instagram that her new beaugifted her a promise ringfor Christmas — and also dropped the L-word.

Additionally, Bellino — whocalled things off with ex-fiancé Andrew “Drew” Bohnin August 2023 —uploaded a couple of cozy photos with the businessman,writing alongside them, “Johnny J, let everyone talk. But you have shown me love that I’ve never known. I love you ❤️#thisisourchristmascard#merrychristmas.”

Before Bellino met Janssen, Beador made it no secret that she had disdain for the single mom of three.

“Other than one incident in which I witnessed hershouting obscenities at mefrom across a restaurant, immediately prior to hervery unfortunate arrest, Shannon Beador and I have never worked together or interacted,” Bellino previously told Page Six, referring to the hours leading up to Beador’s headline-making DUI in September 2023.

Beador hassaid that she was “hurt” and “confused” by Janssen’s unexpected romancewith Bellino — and confessed she did not “know how to process” the news when it first came out.

But the twosome — who made their red carpet debut as a couple at Sunday night’s Oscars viewing bash hosted by Rob Lowe — insisted to us that their relationship was not born out of spite.

“Of course, I don’t want Shannon to hurt. I wish her nothing but the best, but I’m focused on Alexis, her and I,” he said, adding, “At some point, it’s not about Shannon.”

Bellino chimed in, “I personally care [how Beador feels]. Yes, we do care. We don’t want to hurt [her]. We’re not here to hurt anybody.”

Beador announced in January 20203 that Janssen broke up with her the prior November — just one week afterproduction completed on “Orange County” Season 17.

The Real for Real founder asserted to Page Six in June 2023 that she and the businessman were “never going to get back together,” though they maintained a close relationship for months.

That seemingly ended, though, when Janssen met Bellino. “We didn’t plan on meeting each other,” he said, “but it happened and I’m really happy it did.”

Meanwhile, Bellino does her best to tune out any judgments cast on her relationship with Janssen.

“We honestly don’t listen to the noise,” she said, acknowledging a faction of Beador fans who don’t support the romance out of loyalty.

Bellino emphasized that she and Janssen wanted to make a statement by stepping out together at the DIRECTV fête — also attended by Vicki Gunvalson, Erika Jayne, Phaedra Parks, Guerdy Abraira, Audrina Patridge, Paula Abdul and more notable talent.

“This is our first big night out. We’re finally at the point where we’re like, ‘OK, you know what? America needs to understand that this is us and we’re moving forward and we are talking future,’” she elaborated. “We’re not just stopping now. So everybody better hold on for the ride. Put on your seatbelt!”
