Data is guiding all decision making here at Swappie, and in order to be as impactful as possible we are now looking for a Senior Product Analyst to do some hardcore data crunching and develop the swappie.com shopping experience to the next level!

As a Senior Product Analyst you’ll take ownership of the analytics and insights regarding the customer experience of swappie.com eCommerce site across the European markets we serve: how does the customer journey look like; where are the biggest drop offs; are those the same across markets, devices or user segments and how can we validate our hypotheses through experiments?

Demand is one of our five cross-functional product teams each dedicated to solving customer problems in their domain. The Demand team is responsible for ensuring smooth customer experience during the journey from landing page to discovering our product assortment before finally adding products to the shopping cart. The team’s main area of ownership is the customer experience of swappie.com along with the site’s SEO, while also handling the product, stock, and price data.

In this Senior Product Analyst role you will get a chance to influence the direction of our product development by providing actionable insights and enabling the Demand team to make better product related decisions. You will have full ownership of the analytics of the Demand area, from defining and developing the needed data models, building the right reports and data visualizations, to sharing your analysis and insights with the team and its stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Product Development, Demand and work closely with a Product Manager, Designer, Engineering Manager and Software Engineers in the Demand product team. Occasionally you might help other product areas with their analytics needs, but the main focus of your job is to support the Demand team. Your work will have a tangible impact on how and to which direction we develop our eCommerce site customer journey.

IN THIS ROLE YOU GET A CHANCE TO

• Build analytical understanding of Swappie’s ecommerce site covering the entire customer journey from the landing page up to choosing payment and delivery methods
• Contribute to product decisions and provide data-backed evidence for decision making
• Develop analytics models, reports, and data visualizations to follow and understand product performance
• Define concrete tracking requirements, A/B test plans, and experimentations needed to evaluate solutions together with Demand product team
• Foster data-first culture as a member of a product team and support embedding data and analytics across projects and activities

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

• Previous work experience in analytics, preferably in product analytics
• Expertise in web analytics, for example with Google Analytics, and any A/B testing tool
• Experience working in product led consumer product (B2C) or eCommerce companies
• Excellent analytical skills, which include proficiency in working with data, spreadsheets, and solid experience and skills in SQL. Additional scripting language experience (e.g. Python or R) is beneficial
• Good knowledge of working with data visualizations and preferably with some BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Data Studio, Looker)
• Experience working with product managers, designers, engineering team members, and data scientists
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable, easily digestible insights and recommendations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Interest in new technologies and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
